DIN 7500

THREAD-FORMING SCREW FOR METALS

Thread-forming screws according DIN 7500 can be driven into malleable materials without the need for tapping the mating thread. Whether a certain type of thread-forming screw is suitable for a given malleable material (steel, aluminium or non-ferrous metal) should be tested and evaluated through application testing.

Product types

Thread rolling screws according to DIN 7500 for aluminium, die-casts
Storage programme: Thread rolling screws DIN 7500 (thread rolling screws DIN 7500, steel, case-hardened, lubricant-coated)

Advantages and benefits

  • Thread rolling without chips and loss of material

  • Minimum radial tension, large thread coverage

  • Process-reliable due to torsion strength

  • Shorter and slimmer screws are possible.
